Frequently Asked Questions

What do I recommend for framing?

  • The RÖDALM frames series from IKEA are great quality for the price, and they are what I'd recommend for my prints, particularly the black, white, and birch colors.

  • I designed the white space around each print to accommodate room for a mat, upleveling your framing choice and eliminating the need to tape and level the print inside the frame.

    • 8" x 10" prints: 5" x 7" image and 1.5" white borders

    • 12" x 16" prints: 8" x 10" image, 2" and 1.5" white borders

    • 16" x 20" prints: 12" x 16" image, 2" white borders

What kind of paper do I use for my prints?

  • My available works are fine-art giclee prints on archival-grade, acid-free paper.

  • They feature a instant-dry coating that resists fingerprints and smudging.

  • It's recommended to avoid direct sunlight to avoid any fading.

What is the typical production timeline?

  • I chose this printer because they offer excellent quality and ship quickly!

  • Typical production time is 3 days until shipped. The default shipper is USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 Business Days).

What about international shipping?

  • I would love to extend my work to other countries. I've opened my shoppable site in Spring 2025, and I need to walk a bit more before I can run. I hope to offer international sales and shipping once I can confidently manage international operations. Thank you for understanding!

Can I paint certain mountains or views?

  • I'm open to commissions and I charge around $1.50 a sq. inch. with a minimum size of 18" x 24." Please send me a message to discuss more!

What technologies did I use?

  • All of my prints are photographs of my original work I made using paint, newspaper, and wood veneer.

  • I did not knowingly employ any AI in producing these prints outside of light editing via the Adobe Creative Suite

  • All photo content on my website I shot and produced myself, and I had help in shooting the video content. There isn't any use of stock photography.

How did I start my online business selling prints?

  • Once I started producing work to sell, I realized I needed to scale my original works by offering prints.

  • Thankfully, I have been working as a marketer for over 15 years, and I have the skillset to be brave enough to launch my shop ;)

  • If you have questions as an artist, I would be happy to share some learnings and recommendations. Send me a message!
